-> If you adopt 2 different African Scrub animals, the zoo will give you a 10000 cash grant.
-> If you adopt 4 African species, the zoo will give you a 20000 cash grant.
-> If you adopt 8 African species, the zoo will give you a 40000 cash grant.
This is the last scenario in the African Adventures and winning it will unlock the desert-themed objects. This empty zoo opens with foliage and rocks that can be recycled. I started by flattening the ground. I built a food court for the guests before building the Bongo exhibit. Do remember that you do not have to place 2 of the same animals every time you create a new exhibit for each different African species as any DIFFERENT animal that is from Africa counts as an African species regardless of the number of the same species you place. You should start out with the cheapest animals first before adopting the expensive ones. I proceeded to build an exhibit for the American Buffalo. The third exhibit I built was the Dromedary Camel exhibit. After that, I created a Thomson's Gazelle exhibit, you may want to make this exhibit larger for other animals to be put in. Four of these animals are the easiest to care for. My zoo now has 4 African Species. My zoo fame went up to 1 star then I adopted the African Spurred Tortoise and the Scimitar-horned Oryx together in the same desert exhibit. (Separate them by splitting the exhibit with fences if you are afraid that the Oryx might kill the Tortoise. The camels on the other hand will NOT kill the tortoise.) Then I adopted a Gemsbok in a Scrub exhibit. I also added the Masai Giraffe and the Wildebeest into the Thomson's Gazelle's exhibit. Then, I added the Greater Flamingo into my wetland exhibit. (The African Buffalo might kill the flamingos so if you are not willing to take the risk, place the flamingos in a separate exhibit. Also do take note that flamingos die really quickly.) So now I had 10 African Species in my zoo. My zoo fame increased to 1 1/2 star. Then I adopted the Common Zebra. At this point I had 4 Savannah African Species, so next I built another wetland exhibit for the Nile Crocodile (Do not place any other animals with the crocodile, the crocodile will most probably devour the other animals in the exhibit.) and then I added the Nile Monitor in the African Buffalo and Greater Flamingo exhibit. (Separate the monitor with the buffalo and flamingo if you are not willing to take the risk.) My zoo had 13 African species now. Then, I released 3 Caribous and a Musk Ox to the wild as these animals are cheap to adopt. My zoo fame immediately went up to 2 stars. I added the Gerenuk and won the scenario.
The scenario ended with 2 stars of zoo fame, 14 species, 30 animals, 4 released animals and no staffs.
Hire a few staffs if you are lazy to do the cleaning yourself.
Here is a preview of the Desert-Themed Objects. I forgot to add the themed fence though.
